Once people find us, they come back. Here are the five reasons our regulars tell us they keep returning to 300 Milliken Blvd.
The Quality Is the Same As What the Restaurants Get
D&D Poultry has been supplying Ontario’s top restaurants, grocery chains, and food programs for over thirty years. The chicken you buy at our Cash & Carry is the same HACCP-certified, halal-certified, Ontario-sourced product that professional kitchens across the GTA are using. There’s no separate retail grade. Same standard. Always.
The Souvlaki, Shawarma, Kafta — and the Homemade Tzatziki Are the Real Thing
Our family came from Greece. The recipes for our Chicken, Pork, and Lamb Souvlaki, Tandoori Chicken Skewers, Chicken Satays, Chicken Shawarma, and Kafta have been developed and refined over decades by people who know Mediterranean food from the inside. Our Jerk Chicken, Chicken Meatballs, and Chicken Sauté are equally distinct. And our homemade Tzatziki and Tirokafteri — made from Anastasia Dikeos’s original Greek recipes — are available here and nowhere else. Families who grew up eating this food know the difference. So do their children.
No Membership, No Minimum
You don’t need a Costco membership to buy quality chicken in bulk in Toronto. Our Cash & Carry is open to the public with no membership requirement and no minimum order. You buy what you need in the quantities you want. Open Monday to Friday 9am–5pm, Saturday 9am–3pm.
The Prices Make Sense for a Family Budget
Buying direct from the manufacturer removes the distribution and retail markup from the chain. You pay prices that reflect what the product actually costs to make. Our regulars tell us the savings on a family’s weekly chicken purchase are real and consistent. Call us at 416-609-9300 for current pricing on specific products.
The People Who Work Here Care
D&D Poultry is a family business now in its third generation. Under 50 people work in this facility. Five grandchildren of the founders work here — on weekends you’ll often find them behind the retail counter, and customers consistently tell us that’s one of their favourite things about shopping here. When you come in, you’re dealing with people who made what you’re buying and want you to leave satisfied.
